Torino travel to Atalanta on Sunday and there’s a good chance England keeper Joe Hart can kick off his Serie A career with a win.
The on-loan Manchester City man may have to wait for a chance to usurp Daniele Padelli, the first-choice for the last three seasons, but it won’t be too long before we see him in action – otherwise why would Torino have signed him?
Regardless of whether or not he’s involved, Torino can still do the business at Atalanta.
The Turin club did the double over their hosts last season and have started strongly this year. Torino gave AC Milan a run for their money at the San Siro in their season opener, as only a missed penalty in injury time denied them a point.
They then hammered Bolgona 5-1 in the second outing with in-form striker Andrea Belotti following up his two goals against the Rossoneri with another brace.
Torino are 19/10 in the standard match betting market but the 33/20 on Belotti to score at anytime is my top bet for this clash. The 22-year-old is 39/4 to hit two or more goals after his doubles against both Milan and Bologna, which would be some achievement.
Atalanta’s games have produced 10 goals so far this season and Torino have managed 11. Joe Hart may not get a clean sheet if he is handed the start and 5/6 on both teams to score looks like a gift, while over 3.5 goals at 49/20 is an option if you’re looking for a bigger risk and better odds.
