Celtic were made to pay the price for Barcelona’s shock weekend La Liga defeat to Alaves, after they ended up on the wrong end of a 7-0 Champions League demolition at the hands of the Catalans.

Barcelona’s performance against the Scottish giants had the feeling of a wounded animal quickly recovering, out to show the world it is still the best despite the weekend set back.

This weekend they head to a Leganes side who have picked up a win, draw and defeat in their opening three games and currently sit mid table in 11th.

Expect no repeat of last Saturday’s defeat for Luis Enrique’s men. Get on Barcelona to win comfortably 3-0 at 6/1 with comeon.com.

Barcelona’s conqueror’s Alaves, find themselves unbeaten in their opening matches and have taken four points from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona early on.

It will be a different test for them as Deportivo visit the “Mendizorrotza stadium” on Monday night as Alaves are priced as 6/5 favourites with comeon.com.

Deportivo de la Coruna sit one point behind Alaves after a similar start to Leganes with a win ( v Eibar), a draw and defeat last time out to Athletic Bilbao.

It is likely that neither team would be to disappointed with a share of the spoils and it is priced at 2/1 with Comeon.com.

Real Madrid hold the only 100% record in La Liga and it is likely that run will continue as they face a trip away to Barcelona’s neighbours Espanyol on Saturday night.

Espanyol are yet to win a game this season after two draws and a defeat in their opening three matches, but played out an impressive 1-1 draw away at Real Sociedad in their last game.

However, if you are an old romantic and fancy a long shot then why not plump on Espanyol to do the business at 17/2 with comeon.com? Real have a mid-week Champions League fixture against Sporting this Wednesday and may still be feeling the effects come Sunday night.

In other fixtures…

Atletico Madrid welcome Sporting De Gijon to the Vicente Calderón on Saturday afternoon. Sporting currently sit above Atletico in third after wins against Athletic Bilbao and Leganes leave them unbeaten on 7 points after drawing with Alaves.

Atletico are also unbeaten after two draws and a win. Expect one of these unbeaten records to go on Saturday as it may too tall a task for Sporting to come away from the capital with anything to show for their efforts.

Get on Atletico to win and both teams to score at 33/10 with comeon.com.

Perhaps the big match of the weekend is Athletic Bilbao at home to Valencia. Valencia’s poor form has carried over from last season losing all three games so far and Bilbao have just the one victory to their name.

Get on the draw at 51/20 with us.

Real Betis v Granada kick things off on Friday night and Saturday see’s Eibar take on Sevilla and Las Palmas host Malaga whilst on Sunday the other fixtures are Osauna v Celta Vigo and Villarreal face Real Socieded.
