Daily Tips – Away successes for Gladbach and Roma

The EFL Cup final takes place today as Manchester United and Southampton face off at Wembley but I’ve decided to focus on Europe.

The 4/1 price on a win for Saints is tempting, given that they’ve won two and lost two in the previous four meetings between the clubs. The goalscorer markets are another option but – to use the old cliché – anything can happen in a final so I’ll focus elsewhere.

I underestimated Borussia Monchengladbach at Fiorentina in midweek and they can follow that impressive win with another victory at Ingolstadt today.

Gladbach have won all four of the previous games on the road and should be able to overcome the side with the worst home record in the Bundesliga.

My top bet for today is the 19/10 on a Gladbach win at Ingolstadt, while the 19/4 on an away win with both teams to score also appeals.

The standout Serie A fixture today takes place in Milan as Internazionale entertain a Roma side still just about clinging on to their Scudetto hopes.

Inter lost to Lazio at home in the Coppa Italia last month but that was their first defeat at the Giuseppe Meazza since a surprise 2-1 reverse to Cagliari in October.

However, Roma are an excellent side and a 4-0 demolition of Villarreal in Spain in the Europa League should have provided a big confidence boost. Since September, their only losses away from the Stadio Olimpico have come at Atalanta, Juventus and Sampdoria and they can claim a big win in Milan tonight.

Roma are 37/20 to secure success in Milan, and a victory for the visitors to zero at 15/4 is another option for the braver punter out there.
