Two European heavyweights meet on Tuesday as Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid do battle in Champions League Group H.
The two sides have met eight times in the last four years and Dortmund have enjoyed plenty of joy against the Spanish giants, especially at the Westfalenstadion.
The Bundesliga club are unbeaten in their last four home meetings against Real and both of last season’s group matches ended in 2-2 draws, and are available to back at 2/1 to come out on top on Tuesday.
There is a stark difference to the way that the two sides have started their domestic leagues, with Dortmund top in Germany with 16 points from six games, while Zinedine Zidane’s men (13/10) are fifth in La Liga with 11 points from six games.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang already has eight goals this season and, with Real keeping just one clean sheet in their last six games, 16/5 for the Gabon international to score first is a tempting price.
Meanwhile, Monaco look a sound bet – at 11/10 – to beat FC Porto and put themselves in a strong position to qualify from Group G.
Last season’s semi-finalists started their European campaign with a 1-1 draw in Leipzig, while in contrast Porto (51/20) slipped to a 3-1 home defeat to Besiktas.
The Ligue 1 side’s build up for this clash saw them claim a 4-0 away win at Lille, with Radamel Falcao (5/8 to score at anytime) scoring twice – that’s now 11 goals in 9 games this term.
One game that promises goals is the clash at the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City and Shakhtar Donetsk meet (Match Odds – Man City 2/11, Draw 27/4, Shakhtar 13/1) in Group F.
City have scored 22 goals in their last five matches in all competitions and will expected to build on their impressive 4-0 win at Feyenoord on Matchday One.
Shakhtar have a reputation of being dangerous on the break though and the Ukrainian league leaders have bagged 11 goals in their last five fixtures and that includes an impressive 2-1 home success over Napoli.
