A Champions League draw at Wembley would be advantageous for both Tottenham and Real Madrid as they chase a place in the last-16 of the competition.

The two teams drew 1-1 in the Spanish capital a fortnight ago and, as they both currently have seven points after three group matches, six more than Borussia Dortmund and Apoel Nicosia, another draw at 27/10 seems good value.

Zinedine Zidane’s team surprisingly lost 2-1 at Girona on Sunday and are certainly not firing on all cylinders at present as they are eight points behind leaders Barcelona after ten La Liga fixtures.

Real may aim to keep it tight on Wednesday so it could be worth backing them at 14/5 to keep a clean sheet against a side that lost 1-0 at Manchester United on Saturday.

In the other Group H match Borussia Dortmund will surely be too strong for Apoel on home soil and are 27/4 to record a 2-0 victory against the Cypriot side despite slumping to a 4-2 loss at Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

In Group E the Anfield faithful will be expecting a goal-fest when NK Maribor visit Liverpool just a fortnight after Jurgen Klopp’s side romped to a 7-0 victory in Slovenia.

It may not be quite so easy for the Reds this time, but it could be worth backing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at 29/20 to score at any time in the match, while Sevilla may have to settle for a draw at 15/4 against Spartak Moscow

In Group F Napoli need the three points in their game against Manchester City to get their hopes of reaching the knockout stages back on track and are 9/5 to do just that while Shakhtar Donetsk might struggle to get past Feyenoord with a draw on offer at 9/2.

Besiktas are the surprise package in Group G and have already won their first three matches while anything but a victory for Monaco in Turkey could see last season’s semi-finalists crash out of the competition.

Jeremain Lens is 27/4 to score the first goal in the match while Porto are 8/1 to edge to a 1-0 victory against RB Leipzig in the other Group G clash.
