Daily Tips – Spurs can outfox Leicester

Spurs have faltered a bit lately and go into tonight’s match at Leicester having managed just one point from their last two Premier League outings, but they should be able to get back to winning ways at the King Power Stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are now below north London rivals Arsenal in the table and will be desperate to force their way back into the top four in the weeks ahead.

Leicester have also hit a bit of a rough patch – winless in three in the league – and they looked some way off their best during Friday’s drab 1-1 draw at West Ham.

Spurs may have lost their last two away games although those defeats came against Manchester United and Arsenal, but against teams currently below them they have 100% record this season on the road.

The away side are 5/7 to claim the win and that looks a solid price if you’re looking to add it to a multiple, but we can do a little better for value.

In three of Tottenham’s four away wins this season they’ve been ahead at the break so the 31/20 on an away/away result in the half-time/full-time market really stands out as my top bet today.

Spurs hammered Leicester 6-1 in the corresponding fixture last season and the handicap markets also appeal, with a -1 handicap paying out at 19/10 and -2 at 19/4.

There is also a full round of Ligue 1 midweek fixtures this week and this evening two out-of-form sides meet as Bordeaux host Saint-Etienne. Bordeaux have lost four of their last six and Les Verts aren’t faring much better.

However, the away side are a massive price, considering they’re above Les Girondins in the standings, and they look well worth the risk at 17/4 to claim a win this evening, or 31/4 with both teams to score.
