Chelsea host Newcastle in the early Premier League kick-off on Saturday and the Blues should be able to claim a fairly comfortable victory.
Chelsea have won five of their last six league games and have lost just once in the last 10 games across all competitions, at Roma in the Champions League.
Newcastle have faltered lately after a bright start to the season and they head to Stamford Bridge seeking to end a five-match winless run, during which time they have picked up just one point.
The visitors haven’t claimed a win on the road since early September and, despite fighting back from 2-0 down to claim a draw at West Brom last time out, they look a little low on confidence at present.
Chelsea have scored 11 goals in their last five home games and should be able to carve out a few chances against a Newcastle side that have conceded as many in their last five overall.
The hosts are 1/4 to claim the win but the 5/7 on a home win with a -1 handicap is my top bet in this early Premier League kick-off, while the 11/2 on a 2-0 Chelsea win appeals in the exact score market.
In the 2.30pm kick-offs in the Bundesliga on Saturday, Augsburg stand out at 39/20 to claim a win at Mainz. Augsburg saw a four-match unbeaten run on the road ended by Bayern Munich in their last away game, while Mainz made hard work of beating bottom side Cologne and only managed a point against Freiburg in their two most recent Bundesliga matches at the Opel Arena.
Bayer Leverkusen also appeal at 27/20 to beat Borussia Dortmund. Leverkusen are unbeaten at home in the Bundesliga this season and BVB are without a victory in the league since September, having blown a 4-0 lead at home to Schalke in their last match.
