Arsenal take on Liverpool in a Friday night Premier League fixture this evening in a crucial clash in the battle for a top-four finish.
The visitors have the advantage at present as they sit fourth with a one point lead over the Gunners and they may well come away with all three points from the Emirates.
Arsenal have been in good form of late with just one defeat in their last seven Premier League outings, with that loss coming against Manchester United as they found keeper David de Gea in inspired form.
Liverpool are unbeaten in nine in the league and have been in great scoring form, and that could prove the difference this evening. Arsenal won’t sit back and their defence has appeared a little suspect at times this season – and Liverpool’s in-form attackers may be able to take advantage at the Emirates Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp’s men did struggle against both Everton and West Brom in two recent draws but they got back into their stride with a 4-0 thumping of Bournemouth last time out. Arsenal have actually managed four clean sheets in their last five games but it is hard to see them denying the Reds this evening.
Liverpool won the reverse fixture 4-0 earlier in the season at Anfield but Arsenal will almost certainly provide more resistance on home soil. The visitors can still score big though, and the 21/1 on a 3-2 win for the away side or the 42/1 on a 4-2 success appeal.
