Arsenal head to Crystal Palace in Thursday’s solitary Premier League fixture and they should be able to claim a win, but it will not be straightforward for the visitors.
Palace are unbeaten in their last eight games and have not lost at home since September. Roy Hodgson’s side haven’t necessarily been flying as five of their last eight have ended in draws, but they are proving to be a tough team to beat.
Arsenal impressed in a draw with Liverpool last time out as they came back from 2-0 down but draws have been the problem for Arsene Wenger’s men as three of their last four league games have ended in stalemates, denting their top-four hopes.
The Eagles have only been behind at the break twice in their last 10 games and I’m expecting them to keep Arsenal quiet for the opening stages in this one.
Arsenal are 10/13 to claim the victory but the 15/4 on a draw/away result in the half-time/full-time market really stands out in this one and is my top bet for this Premier League fixture.
Mesut Ozil has found a bit of form with a goal in each of his last two appearances, and three in his last six overall, so he looks the value call in the goalscorer markets at 3/1 to score anytime or 10/1 to score first.
