Real Madrid should be able to take all three points when they head to Celta Vigo this evening but it won’t be an easy ride for Zinedine Zidane’s men.
Celta secured a 1-1 draw against Barcelona at the Estadio de Balaídos in the Copa del Rey on Thursday and they tend to up their game against the bigger sides, having knocked Real out of the cup competition last season.
The hosts have only failed to score in one of their three La Liga games against the current top five so far this season and managed to hold Barca to a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou at the start of December.
Aside from a loss against the Catalan giants, Real have been in fine form of late after a tough period and have managed eight wins in their last 12 games.
Los Blancos have managed seven clean sheets during that time but they are without defensive talisman Sergio Ramos this evening.
Celta have only failed to score once in their last 11 games across all competitions and with Ramos missing they could well force a breakthrough against the champions this evening.
