Manchester United’s focus may have switched to Europe as the Premier League title now looks out of reach but they should still have too much for Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this evening.
United won the reverse fixture 4-0 earlier in the season and although Palace have improved since then it could be another fairly comfortable win for Jose Mourinho’s men.
The Eagles are winless in five and dropped into the bottom three over the weekend as their rivals picked up some valuable points.
Manager Roy Hodgson also has a massive injury list to contend with as 10 players are definitely missing, including Wilfried Zaha, Jason Puncheon and Yohan Cabaye, with two others rated as doubts.
United suffered successive defeats at Spurs and Newcastle but not seem to be back on track on their travels after an FA Cup win at Huddersfield and a Champions League draw at Sevilla.
The Old Trafford side are 20/39 to claim the victory but we can do a little better this evening. An away win to zero appeals at 6/5 and the 7/5 about a United win with a -1 handicap is my top bet in this fixture.
The Eagles did well to restrict Spurs to just one goal in their last outing but if United can grab an early goal it could open this game up and they may well be able to claim a win with some room to spare tonight.
