Real can end PSG Euro hopes

The Champions League returns this week and the stand out tie takes place on Tuesday night, as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid collide in the French capital.

Real travel to France with a 3-1 lead from the first leg and their experience could prove crucial in the second match, as Zinedine Zidane’s men go in search of a third consecutive Champions League title (6/1 Outright Market).

Despite being a massive 15 points behind the leaders in La Liga, Real seem to raise their game in Europe’s top club competition and have suffered just one defeat in this season’s tournament, 3-1 to Tottenham at Wembley.

Perhaps more significant has been the recent return to form of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar endured a slow start to the campaign, having been hampered by injuries, but is now firing again.

Ronaldo, 7/4 to score first or last on Tuesday night, has scored ten goals in Real’s last seven fixtures, including a brace in the first-leg victory at the Bernabeu.

Another major factor in Real’s advantage is the absence of PSG’s talisman Neymar, who suffered a broken metatarsal against Marseille on February 25.

One thing seems certain, there will be goals! PSG (21/20 Match Odds) have scored 33 times in their last eight games at the Parc des Princes, while Real have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 games. Over 4.5 goals is avaiable to back at 7/4.

But with Zidane’s position on the line, the Spanish giants are likely to step up and deliver when they need to and the 12/5 on offer for them to win is very tempting, while Real are 1/4 to qualify for the quarter finals.

Tuesday’s other clash looks more straight forward to call, with Liverpool facing Porto and the Reds 5-0 up from the away leg.

Jurgen Klopp is likely to make several changes to his side, with a big clash with Manchester United coming up this weekend. With fresh faces wanting to prove their worth, the Premier League club will expect another Anfield win – which is 10/19.

More tempting is the 17/10 on a Liverpool win and both teams to score, as Porto have nothing to lose and will throw numbers forward.
