In-form Millwall can turn up the Championship play-off pressure further on Easter Monday by claiming victory against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

The Lions have secured seven wins and two draws in their last nine games, while they have also won their last six league games away from home.

They are 5/4 to leave East Anglia with all three points and will be encouraged by Ipswich having lost three in a row and not scored a goal in their last four games.

Millwall will no doubt be keeping an eye out on the early kick-off, when Preston play host to Derby County, with the Rams having suffered a slump in form at just the wrong time.

They are without a win in their last eight games, having been humbled 4-1 at home by Sunderland last time out and are now in danger of dropping out of the top six.

Preston are currently just outside the play-off places and have not won any of their last nine meetings with the Rams.

The last four meetings have produced just four goals in total, so expect another tight encounter at Deepdale, with the hosts appearing decent value at 23/4 to claim a 1-0 victory.

Sheffield United are another team firmly in the hunt for a play-off place, but they face a major test of their mettle when Cardiff City are the visitors to Bramall Lane for the evening kick-off.

The Bluebirds are on course for automatic promotion and have not suffered a league defeat since New Year’s Day, winning their last eight, although they have conceded in each of their last four games.

Kenneth Zohore has been in fine form by scoring in four of his last six games and he is a decent option at 21/10 to score at any time, with City also appearing good value at 39/20 to win the game.

Meanwhile, Sunderland need to back up their fine win at Derby with another victory at home to Sheffield Wednesday if they are to avoid what has long appeared to be an almost certain relegation.

The Black Cats completed the double over the Owls last season and the two sides shared the spoils from a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough earlier this season.

A 1-1 draw on Monday is a tempting 5/1, while if you fancy Sunderland to build on a much-needed win, then 37/4 for a 2-1 home victory might be the option to catch your eye.
