Reds to triumph in goal-fest

The second round of Premier League fixtures concludes on Monday with what could be a goal-fest at Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace host Liverpool.

Four years ago this fixture derailed the Reds’ title bid but they have since won their last four in SE25 and were sensational in their opening 4-0 win over West Ham.

Palace also impressed with their attacking display in the 2-0 victory at Fulham, and already have the same points after one game this season than they did after nine last term.

Zaha to score at Anytime @ 3/1

Wilfried Zaha’s new deal finally came through this week and he was amongst the goals at Craven Cottage where he set the tone, while Jeffrey Schlupp netted the opener.

A goal for Zaha on Monday would see him become Palace’s all-time leading Premier League scorer and he could be assisted by Max Meyer who arrived on a free transfer from Schalke.

Cheikhou Kouyate could also make his first start in the middle of the park, while Wayne Hennessey did more than enough to keep his place in goal ahead of Vicente Guaita.

Liverpool to win and both to score @ 29/20

A strong summer means the Reds are genuine title challengers this term and they will be looking to open up in the capital.

Debutant Naby Keita was particularly impressive in midfield against the Hammers, while Jordan Henderson or summer signing Fabinho could get their first starts of the season.

Alisson was also on debut for the Reds last week but is likely to be tested more by Palace than he was by Manuel Pellegrini’s men.

Zaha and former Reds forward Christian Benteke will be looking to prove themselves and there could be goals at both ends.

Over 3.5 goals @ 27/20

In fact, there has been over 2.5 goals in the last seven meetings between the pair at Selhurst Park and punters may eye the value here.

Liverpool should have enough over 90 minutes though, especially when considering that they have scored at least twice in their last four away matches against the Eagles.

Mane to score at Anytime @ 13/10

If there are goals, Sadio Mane looks another man to look out for after a brilliant brace against the Hammers.

He may not have done the business for Senegal at the World Cup but is a really classy player and will look to expose the inexperience of young full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
