Everton have not made many headlines so far this season but they have made a quietly impressive start to the campaign and they can maintain their unbeaten run by winning at Bournemouth.
Apart from Richarlison, 8/1 to score the first goal on Saturday, Marco Silva has hardly used any of his new signings but Everton have played some entertaining football – in sharp contrast to the grim spectacle Sam Allardyce inflicted on the Goodison faithful in the second half of last term.
Everton to beat Bournemouth by 2 goals @ 25/4
Despite having Phil Jagielka sent off in the first half at Molineux, Silva’s side battled to a 2-2 draw at Wolves on the opening weekend before Theo Walcott and Richarlison starred in the 2-1 victory against Southampton.
Bournemouth may have six points from six but Eddie Howe’s team look set to taste defeat for the first time this weekend.
Meanwhile, Manchester City may have to settle for a one-goal win, available at 11/4 at Wolves, while Arsenal can get off the mark against hapless West Ham.
Arsenal to beat West Ham 3-0 @ 39/4
Unai Emery’s side played well in patches in the defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea while the Hammers have been woeful against Bournemouth and Liverpool.
It is difficult to see where West Ham’s first victory of the season is going to come from as they have a terrible sequence of fixtures coming up – Manuel Pellegrini’s side face Wolves, Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United in September.
Huddersfield Town against Cardiff City already looks like a relegation six-pointer and, although it is difficult to see where the Bluebirds’ goals are going to come from, Neil Warnock will have them well-organised and they can grind out a grim goalless draw in West Yorkshire, available at 6/1.
Leicester to win at Southampton @ 11/5
Scoring goals once again looks set to be a problem for Southampton – they only managed 37 last term – while Leicester City know how to win at St Mary’s having triumphed 4-1 on the south coast last season.
Brighton may have beaten Manchester United last weekend but they are unlikely to repeat the trick at Anfield as Liverpool appear to be on a different level to Jose Mourinho’s team this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side can canter to a routine 2-0 victory at 6/1 against the Seagulls on Saturday evening.
