Wales impressed with their 4-1 demolition of Ireland in their Nations League opener and can back that up with a victory in Denmark today.
Denmark have their squad back after a dispute with the Danish FA saw them all miss Wednesday’s loss to Slovakia.
However, the fact they have only just linked up with each other could have an impact on performance and as Wales are a big price they look worth the risk this afternoon.
Ryan Giggs’ men were excellent when beating Ireland last time out and can make another statement with a win over the Danes.
I’m quite temped to back Juan Martin Del Potro to beat Novak Djokovic outright to win the US Open final at 19/10 but the safer option of a +3.5 games handicap for the Argentine star looks a solid bet in this clash.
Djokovic has been hugely dominant in the head-to-head and that can’t be ignored. Del Potro last claimed an ATP Tour win over the Serb five years ago and his only victory over the former world number one since has come in the Olympic Games.
The two haven’t met this year however, and Del Potro is arguably in the form of his life after an horrendous run with injuries so I am expecting a better showing and a far more competitive contest this evening.
