Sweden face Turkey in their Nations League opener later and the World Cup quarter-finalists should be able to secure a victory.
Sweden to win and under 2.5 goals @ 5/2
Turkey lost to Russia at home in their first Nations League fixture and a may struggle to make an impact on their trip to Sweden.
The Swedes are an organised outfit who are solid at the back, and have managed five clean sheets in their last eight games overall. Only three of Sweden’s last 15 matches have produced over 2.5 goals and this could well be another low-scoring affair, with a home win and under 2.5 goals really standing out at 5/2 in this match-up.
Portugal v Italy draw @ 2/1
Portugal and Italy have both lost that winning feeling and a draw could well be on the cards when they meet in League A this evening.
The hosts have just one win in their last five games and are also missing star man Cristiano Ronaldo, while Italy have only picked up one victory in their last eight and were held by Poland at home in their last outing.
Four of the last six games involving one of these two teams have ended in draws and all of those games finished 1-1, which pays out at 19/4 later if you are planning to dip into the correct score market.
Interestingly, this fixture has never produced a stalemate in 11 previous fixtures but I try not to read too much into historical stats, given the fact they’ve only met once in the last 10 years, and based on current form and results a draw looks a likely outcome.
