Lewis Hamilton has won four of the last five grands prix and can take another step towards a fifth Drivers’ Championship title with a victory in Russia on Sunday.
Lewis Hamilton – To win @ 11/10
Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel were involved in a tense title tussle for the first half of last year before the former blew the Ferrari driver away in the latter half of the campaign.
It looks as if we’re in for a repeat result this season as Hamilton has stepped up a gear and now holds a 40-point lead in the standings.
Mercedes have dominated the Russia GP since the Sochi race joined the calendar in 2014, winning all four editions so far.
Hamilton won the first two but has had to watch team-mates Nico Rosberg and Valtteri Bottas claim the spoils in the last two years but the Briton can finally complete his Russian hat-trick this weekend.
Daniel Ricciardo – Top-six finish @ 5/7
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Daniel Ricciardo has been outperformed by Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen since it was announced he would join Renault ahead of 2019.
The Australian has been forced to retire in four of the last seven races but he has finished in the top six in every race he’s scored in this season and can do so again in Sochi.
Valtteri Bottas – Fastest lap @ 5/1
Bottas may see his team-mate take the win, but he can make a statement of his own with the fastest lap – having done so in 2014 while at Williams.
The Finn won in Russia last year and Sochi does seem to be a track he feels comfortable on, and at a big price he’s a strong contender for the fastest lap.
