The Premier League could be set for the most intriguing title race since its conception, with three teams seemingly ready to battle it out.

Manchester City to win Premier League @ 2/3

Having walked away with the title last season, City manager Pep Guardiola knows he will have a far bigger test on his hands if he is to be crowned a champion again this term.

City missed an opportunity to put some daylight between themselves and their rivals with a goalless stalemate at Liverpool last time out.

The Citizens, apart from that draw with the Reds, have had an extremely reasonable start to the season when it comes to the fixture schedule.

Yes, City beat Arsenal on the opening weekend but since then they have a run of fixtures which include the likes of Huddersfield, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Fulham, Cardiff and Brighton.

Perhaps Guardiola would have liked a slight cushion between his side and their rivals after that comfortable start to the campaign?

Liverpool to win Premier League @ 9/4

Although on the same amount of points as City, you could suggest Liverpool are just slightly ahead considering the teams they have already faced this term.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have already played Chelsea and Tottenham away, whilst hosting City last time out.

It looks like the Reds might be just in the driving seat but we have seen it many time before when Liverpool are touted as favourites before falling at the final hurdle.

Chelsea to win Premier League @ 8/1

Under new manager Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea have come on leaps on bounds and nobody should rule them out having a significant say in the destination of the Premier League trophy.

Eden Hazard is thriving once again and Sarri has managed to bring on other players, including England’s Ross Barkley, who looks like a new man under the Italian tactician.

It is still extremely early to be making predictions but it would be extremely surprising to see the Premier League trophy end up any place other than the Eithad, Anfield or Stamford Bridge next summer.
