The Championship action continues over the weekend and Queens Park Rangers can continue their winning run against Aston Villa.

QPR to win @ 33/20

It was all doom and gloom around Loftus Road in the summer but Steve McClaren is a man known for developing young talent and his R’s side have won three out of their last four in a run that has seen them pick up 10 points from an available 12.

Dean Smith made a winning start as Villa boss but his side ran out of steam in Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at Norwich.

The injuries to Albert Adomah and Tammy Abraham halted their momentum but while Adomah has been ruled out, Abraham could start and is in decent form having scored four times this season.

QPR have been winning at HT/FT in all three of their home wins this season and that outcome is 59/20.

Middlesbrough to win @ 11/10

Saturday’s early match features two genuine promotion contenders as second place Middlesbrough welcome Derby to the Riverside.

Boro won 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday last Friday but failed to kick on by drawing 0-0 with Rotherham on Tuesday.

Despite their position, Tony Pulis’ men are still to really convince but play the type of football that could overawe this exciting young Rams side.

Frank Lampard is learning his trade but will have been delighted with Wednesday’s brilliant 4-1 victory at West Brom. However, after also beating Sheffield United, the challenge now is for them to build a run of form.

Their expansive style is at odds with the Boro and with Pulis likely to strangle the game, a home win looks the likely outcome, with a Middlesbrough victory by one goal 47/20.

Leeds to win to zero @ 39/20

Finally and Saturday’s late game sees a Brian Clough derby as Leeds host Nottingham Forest at Elland Road.

Both of these clubs have Premier League aspirations but it is the Whites who look closest to fulfilling their ambitions, going back to the top of the Championship thanks to Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Ipswich.

Forest triumphed 3-0 at Bolton and have lost just once all season on the road, with Aitor Karanka as ever building from the back.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have the second best attack in the division but there have been under 2.5 goals in eight of the last nine between these two, while Leeds have kept clean sheets in the last three.

Something seems to be stirring at Elland Road and a home win with a shutout looks extremely tempting.
