With City’s squad depth, it is hard to look past them winning the Carabao Cup

The draw for the Carabao Cup Quarter Finals has given us a North London Derby. What’s your early prediction for that one?

Yeah what a cracking draw that is. I think everyone was hoping for a big clash and Arsenal and Spurs supporters will be really looking forward to that one.

Ultimately I think it’s going to come down to the managers and what sort of teams they want to pick, because nobody wants to lose a North London Derby. I’m sure Emery will understand the importance of it to the Arsenal fans and of course Pochettino the same with Spurs.  This realistically could be the best chance of some silverware for either team this season and that’ll give it even greater spice. Hard to call at this stage without knowing likely lineups, but I’ll back Arsenal to win in the draw no bet market.

Draw No Bet – Arsenal 10/17

Last year’s winners Manchester City are favourites to win the Cup again. Can you see anyone beating them?

You can’t look past City, especially with their squad depth. Guardiola loves winning trophies and now it’s approaching the business end, you know he’ll take every game seriously.

At the moment I think you’ve got to go with City. The winner of Arsenal vs. Tottenham will fancy their chances too, but City are rightly favourites.

Manchester City to win the 2019 Carabao Cup – 39/20

Liverpool travel to the Emirates in the standout Premier League fixture this weekend. What’s your big match prediction?

My old side have been on a great run at the moment, unbeaten in 13, but since they lost at Chelsea in August, they haven’t played anyone who’s going to be top four or in that mix, and Liverpool are certainly one of those sides.

Arsenal have got to set their stall out and be a bit more defensive than they might usually be, just to counter that Liverpool front three. If I’m honest, I don’t really see Arsenal keeping a clean sheet but I do see them scoring themselves. A lot of people might be getting on the draw with goals, which would be my bet as well.

Draw – 11/4

2-2 draw – 11/1

The lunchtime kick-off on Saturday sees Bournemouth host Manchester United. How do you see that one going?

Bournemouth are flying at the moment and Eddie Howe’s done a fantastic job there. To be sixth in the league and only beaten twice so far this season is a terrific achievement.

Man United got a much needed win last time out against Everton and this is another of those games that they’ve really got to win if they’re going to get back in the top four. I’ve got a sneaky feeling that United will win this one.
