One win in their last seven outings in all competitions does not make pretty reading for West Ham United as they prepare to make the trip to the north east to take on a resurgent Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

The Hammers are in somewhat of a rut at present and the decision to bring in manager Manuel Pellegrini does not appear to have significantly improved matters at the London Stadium from last season.
West Ham have only managed one win on the road in the Premier League this season – and that came back in September with victory at Everton.
As for Newcastle, manager Rafael Benitez has got the Magpies back on the right track as they are undefeated in their last four and go into Saturday’s encounter on the back of three consecutive wins.
It is a bit of a shorter turnaround for Newcastle, having beaten Burnley at Turf Moor on Monday, but they have the momentum and should be able to add to West Ham’s woes.
Manchester United to win @ 20/21
Southampton are without a win in their last nine Premier League outings as they prepare to welcome Manchester United to St Mary’s on Saturday.
The pressure in mounting on former United player Mark Hughes to turn things around at the Saints and things won’t get much easier against his former club.
United have one defeat in their last six league outings, and, although they have often failed to find top gear, they should have enough to edge out a struggling Saints side.
