Everton may have only won one of their last seven Premier League games but they can complete the double over Leicester City by beating Claude Puel’s team at Goodison Park on Tuesday.
Everton to win 2-1 @ 31/4
The Toffees were a little unfortunate to lose 1-0 at Brighton on Saturday but they failed to keep a clean sheet in their seven top-flight matches in December and have slipped to 10th in the table as a consequence.
They have the same number of points (27) as they did at this stage of last season, but they recorded one of their two away triumphs at King Power Stadium in October when Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the winner in a 2-1 victory, and can win by a similar scoreline on New Year’s Day.
Arsenal to win by one goal @ 11/4
Arsenal will still be licking their wounds after a traumatic 5-1 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday and they are coming up against a Fulham team that have found some much-needed solidity in the last few weeks under Claudio Ranieri’s guidance.
There should not be a repeat of the Gunners’ 5-1 win at Craven Cottage earlier in the campaign as Fulham have only conceded one goal in their last three fixtures, picking up five crucial points in the process.
It is unlikely to be straightforward for Unai Emery’s side with a draw at half time and Arsenal win at full time available at 16/5.
Spurs to draw at Cardiff @ 33/10
Tottenham appeared to hit a wall on Saturday when they conceded three goals in the last 18 minutes in the 3-1 loss to Wolves at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team had won their previous five league games and have still not drawn this season.
That statistic could come to an end on Tuesday though against a Cardiff City team that only lost 1-0 at Wembley three months ago.
Neil Warnock’s team have kept clean sheets in each of their last two matches and are 21/4 to keep another against Spurs.
