Bolton Wanderers play host to West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening, with the Trotters hoping to take inspiration from their recent record against the Baggies.
Wanderers have lost just one of their last ten meetings with the Midlanders and, despite being deep in relegation trouble near the foot of the Championship table, they even have a win against Albion on the slate already this season.
A 2-1 victory at The Hawthorns came on the opening day of the season, with Bolton winning three of their first four league games of the current campaign.
However, since then they have won just two more and it is hard to make a convincing argument that they will get a victory on the board on Monday evening.
Albion are no certainty to pick up the win either, though, having drawn four of their last eight Championship matches.
Factor in that six of the last ten meetings between these two teams have ended in draws and you might well fancy the Trotters to at least get something from the game, even if all three points are beyond them.
The main man who will be hoping to cause the home defence problems is loan striker Dwight Gayle, who has scored 14 goals in 22 Championship appearances for the Baggies since his arrival from Newcastle United.
He has netted five in his last five games and is on course to get close to the 23 goals he scored for the Magpies when they earned promotion back to the Premier League two seasons ago.
Two of the last three meetings between the two sides have seen a single yellow card brandished, so you may be tempted to take a punt on a low number of bookings coming on Monday evening.
Over 3.5 bookings at 23/20 offers the prospect of a greater return, but appears to represent something of a leap of faith.
