After more midweek excitement, the Premier League is back for round 25, kicking off at lunchtime on Saturday with an intriguing clash at Wembley.

Tottenham to win and both score @ 21/10

Much has been made of Tottenham’s injury woes but they came from behind to beat Watford 2-1 on Wednesday and will need to show similar spirit against Newcastle on Saturday lunchtime.

Son Heung-min’s (11/10 – Anytime Goalscorer) goalscoring return from the Asian Cup was a timely one, while Fernando Llorente showed what he is about by grabbing the winner for the Lilywhites, who can go second with a win, with Manchester City playing Sunday.

That is mainly down to Newcastle beating City 2-1 on Tuesday in what was one of the shocks of the season.

Rafael Benitez has got his wish of a few new players but is likely to approach his side’s trip to Wembley similarly to how he went into the clash against the Citizens.

The usually stingy Spurs defence has not kept a clean sheet for five games and while the Toon can get a goal for themselves, a home win still appears likely, with a repeat of Tottenham’s 2-1 win in the corresponding fixture tempting at 29/4.

Bournemouth to win @ 29/20

It will be an emotional evening at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday and the Bluebirds could struggle to get anything from the visit of Bournemouth.

Despite losing 2-1 at Arsenal on Tuesday, Neil Warnock’s men played with plenty of spirit and their home form will be crucial to their survival hopes, with four of their five victories this season coming on their own patch.

Bournemouth have lost their last seven on the road in the Premier League but were brilliant on Wednesday, crushing Chelsea 4-0.

Eddie Howe’s men demonstrated real counter-attacking expertise and this could be the game they end their dismal away run, with a repeat of August’s 2-0, on offer at 11/1, advised.

City v Arsenal – Over 4.5 goals @ 2/1

Be ready for a Manchester City backlash in Sunday’s late game and Arsenal could find themselves in the eye of the storm.

The Citizens waltzed to a 2-0 win at the Emirates back in August but were the victims of that aforementioned 2-1 defeat at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Facing the Gunners has brought joy in the past, winning the last three meetings in all competitions to zero at an aggregate score of 8-0.

Fourth-place Arsenal beat Cardiff 2-1 on Tuesday but their defensive flaws are there for all to see, with their 33 goals conceded nine more than the second-worst defensive team in the top five and it could be an exciting affair at the Etihad.

City have a bad habit of switching off at times and this will give Unai Emery hope, especially with his team netting in all but one of their Premier League matches since that opening weekend reverse.

However, on the balance of play it should be the home team who come out on top – potentially winning with both teams scoring at 6/5 – to get their title bid back on track and put some pressure on leaders Liverpool ahead of their trip to West Ham on Monday.
