Abu Dhabi T10 – Northern Warriors vs Deccan Gladiators – 11th Match Prediction
With the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 competition, the UAE has recently been a centre for practically all limited-overs cricketing action. This is the fourth competition in a row to feature international players. We are still early in the tournament, as was the case with past recently finished competitions here, but things are already looking promising.
Northern Warriors are scheduled to take on Deccan Gladiators in the tournament’s next encounter, which is crucial for both of these teams. Northern Warriors will be anxious to secure their first win of the competition, while Deccan Gladiators have a chance to get into the two teams. This is likely to be a high-voltage match, with a cracker of a contest on the cards.
The match will take place on November 23, 2021, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Northern Warriors vs Deccan Gladiators Team Previews
Northern Warriors (Match Odds – 2.60)
The Northern Warriors have had the worst conceivable start to the season, losing all three of their matches. Unless they can obtain at least one positive result from their next several matches, they will very probably be forced to retire early. They presently have zero points and a dreadful net run rate of -1.740.
Surprisingly, the defending champions, Northern Warriors, have not performed anything near their potential. They have, however, gotten better with each game and will want to keep this up. They did well with the bat in their last encounter, which was against the Bangla Tigers, but they were unable to defend that total.
Northern Warriors’ side has seen a lot of changes since last year, and this is arguably what is hurting them. They have yet to perfect their combo, which they would like to do as quickly as feasible. On paper, they have a good team, but they appear to be overly reliant on Moeen Ali and Rovman Powell, with their openers struggling.
While their batting appears to be a touch lacking, they have a fantastic bowling assault that can keep even the greatest at bay. Chris Jordan, Imran Tahir, and Rayad Emrit, for example, have a wealth of experience.
They can be a threat to deal with if they have a decent total on the board, given their bowling attack. The basic line is that they will need their batting to step up in the upcoming match and subsequent matches in order for their bowlers to enter the picture. Northern Warriors will be a very difficult team to beat if that happens.
Northern Warriors T20 Squad
Ross Whiteley, Joshua Little, Mark Watt, Abdul Shakoor, Yo Mahesh, Upul Tharanga, Kennar Lewis, Moeen Ali, Samit Patel, Rovman Powell (c), Kaunain Abbas (wk), Umair Ali, Abhimanyu Mithun, Chris Jordan, Gareth Delany, Rayad Emrit, Imran Tahir
Predicted XI: Kennar Lewis, Moeen Ali, Rovman Powell (c), Samit Patel, Ross Whiteley, Umair Ali, Chris Jordan, Abhimanyu Mithun, Rayad Emrit, Imran Tahir/Mark Watt, Abdul Shakoor (wk)
Deccan Gladiators (Match Odds – 1.50)
Deccan Gladiators have had an unusual start to the Abu Dhabi T10 League, winning two of their first three games. In one of the matches, they scored a whopping 146 points, but in the other, they only managed 97. They would like to believe that they will not fail as horribly as they did against Team Abu Dhabi.
Deccan Gladiators will not be unhappy despite their tight loss to Team Abu Dhabi. They are not only sitting pretty on the points table, but they have also performed admirably in all three areas of the game. We saw their batting strength when they scored 146 runs against the Chennai Braves, with the likes of Tom Moores and Andre Russell propelling them from a terrible position to one in which they could dictate terms.
In their two consecutive matches, against Team Abu Dhabi and Delhi Bulls, their bowling came to the rescue, limiting the two teams to totals of 99 and 112 runs, respectively. Even though they lost to Team Abu Dhabi, they should be pleased with how their bowlers performed when defending a low total.
On paper, Deccan Gladiators have a fantastic side comprised of some fantastic exponents of the game’s shortest version. The opening duo of Tom Kohler Cadmore and Tom Banton is as fantastic as it gets. With Andre Russell, David Wiese, Tom Moores, and Wanindu Hasaranga available to bat next, they not only have a deep batting lineup, but also the firepower to hammer lofty hits at various phases of the game.
Deccan Gladiators also has a very large selection of bowling alleys. Having said that, they do have some weak links in the form of Odean Smith and Wahab Riaz, both of whom can be costly when they are not on their game. If the Gladiators can keep their bowling in check, they should be able to cruise to yet another victory in this competition.
Deccan Gladiators T20 Squad
Hamid Hassan, Najibullah Zadran, Rumman Raees, Asif Khan, Izharulhaq Naveed, Nav Pabreja, Tom Banton, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Tom Moores (wk), Andre Russell, David Wiese, Odean Smith, Wanindu Hasaranga, Wahab Riaz (c), Tymal Mills, Sultan Ahmed, Anwar Ali
Predicted XI: Tom Banton, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Tom Moores (wk), Andre Russell, David Wiese, Odean Smith, Wanindu Hasaranga, Wahab Riaz (c), Tymal Mills, Sultan Ahmed, Anwar Ali

Pitch and Weather Conditions
Abu Dhabi is one of three flat tracks on UAE land, and we can expect a run feast of 100-120 runs for this match as well. Bowlers, in particular, may benefit from the new ball.
Forecasters predict that Abu Dhabi will be bright and sunny, with no risk of rain. We don’t expect rain to arrive in this game.

With batting firepower and strong bowlers in their playing XI, the Deccan Gladiators definitely outplay the Northern Warriors at the present. Gladiators also have momentum and form on their side. However, they must improve their performance in this match in order to earn their first points. Gladiators are already performing as a well-oiled machine and have the upper hand in this competition. Deccan Gladiators are expected to win this match and make it four in a row.
