International Matches Bangladesh vs Australia

Bangladesh vs Australia – 3rd T20I Match Preview and Prediction

Bangladesh has recently made history by winning two straight matches against Australia in any format of cricket. It currently has a 2-0 lead and just has to win one of the three remaining games to win the series. But we don’t believe it’ll be thinking about one more win at this point.

Australia was abysmal, and while it attempted to learn from its mistakes in the first T20, it could not just perform in normal Bangladeshi circumstances. Can Bangladesh go three for three and pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent history?

The match will take place on August 6, 2021, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Bangladesh vs Australia Team Previews

Bangladesh

Team Bangladesh lost the toss for the second time in a row and had to chase in this match, but it seemed unfazed. It bowled superbly in familiar conditions, limiting Australia to 121 runs. Mustafizur Rahman took three wickets and was outstanding with his cutter combination. Mustfizur’s emergence was responsible for Bangladesh’s dream home run a few years ago, and he now appears to be back at his best. We’d continue to back him to obtain wickets and search for betting markets with odds on the same.

Mahedy Hasan, Shakib al Hasan, and Shoriful Islam all bowled effectively.

The Bangladeshi bowling assault is extremely tough to deal with in its home environment, particularly for this Australian squad.

The batting effort was sufficient for Bangladesh in the end, but we doubt the host team would be satisfied with its performance thus far in the series. Bangladesh’s top run-scorer is Shakib Al Hasan, who has 62 runs, followed by Afif Hossain, who has 61.

Bangladesh is playing at home and will be counting on at least one of its batters to make the most of the opportunities that have been presented to them. There hasn’t been a fifty-hit in the entire series, so that’s a betting market we can check into.

Afif Hossain is the only batter in the series to have struck more than one six, therefore betting markets that allow you to wager against sixes being hit are also welcome. For this match, most sixes, total sixes, and individual ‘to strike a six’ betting markets are highly appealing.

Bangladesh T20I Squad

Mahmudullah (c), Shakib Al Hasan, Nurul Hasan (wk), Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Taijul Islam, Mohammad Naim, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mustafizur Rahman, Afif Hossain, Rubel Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Mosaddek Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Nasum Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, Shamim Hossain

The hosts are on the verge of a historic series victory in this game. In the last encounter, their bowlers did brilliantly limit Australia to 121 before the Tigers chased it down with eight balls to spare. It is extremely improbable that the winning combination will alter.

Playing XI: Mohammad Naim, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah (c), Nurul Hasan (wk), Afif Hossain, Shamim Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed

Australia

Mitchell Marsh has been Australia’s leading scorer in two matches, but his side has yet to cross the finish line. It’s not his fault, but to be blunt, throwing away your wicket after it’s been established is a major error. Australia failed to learn from its previous match’s faults. It did not modify its roster and used the same combination of players, although having an additional spinner would have been far more successful.

Apart from Mitchell Marsh and Moises Henriques, the batters did not show much application. Matthew Wade has now made two horrible strokes in two matches, and we have no idea how or why he is still picked for the Australian squad.

You should be looking for betting markets that allow you to wager against Australian batters right now. Bet ‘Under’ on Josh Philippe, Matthew Wade, and Ashton Turner’s individual Over/Under Total runs because they appear to be the least comfortable batters.

Josh Hazelwood and Adam Zampa have been standouts among the bowlers. Mitchell Starc takes wickets, but he comes at a high price given the circumstances in which these matches are played. Australia does not appear to have any solutions, but it will undoubtedly make some adjustments and come up with some new ideas this time around.

Australia T20I Squad

Ashton Agar, Wes Agar, Jason Behrendorff, Alex Carey, Daniel Christian, Josh Hazlewood, Moises Henriques, Mitchell Marsh, Ben McDermott, Riley Meredith, Josh Philippe, Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, Matthew Wade, Adam Zampa

Australia has had a difficult tour thus far. They have struggled to counter-spin and are in trouble heading into the third game. An additional spinner might be introduced to the starting XI. Mitchell Swepson might replace Andrew Tye in the starting lineup.

Playing XI: Alex Carey, Josh Philippe, Mitchell Marsh, Moises Henriques, Matthew Wade (c & wk), Ashton Turner, Ashton Agar, Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood

Stats and Trivia

1. This series has produced two of Australia’s three lowest totals when batting out their complete 20 overs.

2. Adam Zampa needs one wicket to achieve 50 in T20Is – Mitchell Starc was the first Australian men’s bowler to reach the milestone in the series opener.

Bangladesh vs Australia Toss Prediction

The team that wins the toss will choose to bat first. The pitch is sluggish, to begin with, and just becomes slower and slower. The team batting first should be considered to have a significant advantage.

Pitch and Conditions

The weather prediction for the first two games was dreadful; yet not a single drop of rain fell during the game. The prediction for the third T20 is likewise pretty bleak; but we hope that the meteorological department has made a few errors once more! Once again, the pitch will be sluggish, low, and tough to score on. Because the home team is winning, the curator has no reason to make any changes. This is likewise the case with the Dhaka wicket.

A batting first score of about 145 will be extremely difficult to chase down.

Bangladesh vs Australia Match Prediction

Bangladesh was fortunate in the second round, and we believed the game was much closer than the result indicates. Australia has no choice but to make adjustments, which may increase its prospects of winning. Its bowling attack is still world-class, and the batsmen will have had time to acclimatize to the circumstances. It is time for an Australian to come back to save the series.

Australia is the favorite to win.
