Namibia vs Netherlands Team Previews
Team Namibia performed an excellent job in qualifying for the ICC World T20 2021, and their success in the qualifiers demonstrates that they are not a side to be underestimated. Even though they were defeated by a large score in their first encounter, they had some amazing moments. They’ll try to take advantage of any beneficial scenarios in future encounters.
In their first match, Namibia batted first against Sri Lanka and appeared to be in a good position at one point, but aiming too high cost them dearly. With the exception of Craig Williams, none of Namibia’s batsmen got going in the previous match, and he will once again be the key to Namibia’s fortunes. He has four fifties in his previous five games and may be a threat.
Aside from Williams, all eyes will be on David Wiese, who has extensive experience playing in T20 tournaments all around the world. On the bowling department, they got off to a good start against Sri Lanka, but the score to defend was too low to put any pressure on them. Overall, Namibia has a squad that is overly reliant on a couple of individuals, but if they perform well, Namibia may pose a danger to even the best in the business.
Namibia T20 Squad

Predicted XI: Stephan Baard, Zane Green (wk), Craig Williams, Gerhard Erasmus (c), David Wiese, JJ Smit, Jan Frylinck, Pikky Ya France, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, Ruben Trumpelmann, Bernard Scholtz
When the Netherlands initially arrived in the UAE, they were severely lacking in match preparation, which was evident in their encounter against Ireland. Despite the fact that the teams went through the normal preparations, including warm-ups, the Netherlands were rusty in their first encounter. Having said that, they are still very much in business, and this next match is really important to them.
The Netherlands now sits in third place on the ladder with zero points and a dreadful net run rate of -1.755. Not only will they want to win here, but they’ll also want to win large enough to increase their net run rate, which may be vital if things become tight.
On paper, the Netherlands have a team with a good mix of youth and experience. They have a quality middle-order with the likes of Colin Ackermann and Ryan ten Doeschate available. They were both ejected without making much of an impact in the last match, and it is now past time for them to join the celebration. Max O’Dowd did a good job at the top, scoring 51 from 47, but a lack of assistance meant the Netherlands crumbled for a mediocre total, which was easily chased.
Overall, the Netherlands’ performance in the first match was substandard, and they will be careful of repeating it. On paper, they have a significantly superior team, and if they play to their full capacity, this match should be a piece of cake for them.

Predicted XI: Max ODowd, Ben Cooper , Bas de Leede, Colin Ackermann, Ryan ten Doeschate, Scott Edwards (wk), Roelof van der Merwe, Pieter Seelaar (c), Logan van Beek, Fred Klaassen, Brandon Glover

Namibia vs Netherlands Match Prediction
