India Tour of West Indies 2022 – West Indies vs India – 1st T20I Prediction
India recently won the ODI series against the West Indies 3-0 and will now play the T20Is. Given the chasm that existed between the two teams at the start of the series, few would have predicted anything else. When the two teams meet again on the next leg of the tour, things will be very different.
India will be ecstatic to welcome their first-string players to the squad, and the preparations for T20 World Cup spots will begin later this year. They have recently improved their performance in T20Is. West Indies are currently rebuilding, and T20Is will be their preferred format, and we expect them to come out firing in the T20Is.
The 1st T20I between West Indies vs India will take place on July 29th, 2022 at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.

West Indies vs India Team Previews
West Indies (Match Odds – 2.45)
This is a love affair between the West Indies and T20 cricket. This Caribbean Islands team has always punched above their weight in the shortest format of their game, which is understandable given their playing style. This is the format they prefer, and even though they will be missing some key players, they will be optimistic about their chances.
They will be boosted by the return of Shimron Hetmyer, who has been in superb form since the start of this year’s IPL. Aside from him, a lot will be riding on Nicholas Pooran, who has recently improved his game. However, with the departures of Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard, the West Indies’ camp is devoid of experience.
West Indies appear to be lacking in bowling experience, which could come back to bite them in high-pressure situations. Overall, the West Indies have the explosiveness required for the format, but they will have to play outside of their skins to compete with this Indian unit. If they can do that, getting past them may prove difficult.

India (Match Odds – 1.55)
The T20 World Cup in Australia is not far away, and one would think that India would have finished their experiments by now. This is a long series in which they can try out different combinations, but we expect India to stick to a stable core, at least at first. India’s core strategy has shifted, and they have recently been more aggressive from the start.
With the return of players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Rishabh Pant, India appears to be a much stronger team. Virat Kohli’s form and contributions will be scrutinized, which is arguably one of the main reasons this series will be watched by fans.
On the bowling front, India appears to be settled and ready to go. They already have battle-hardened bowlers thanks to the Indian Premier League, even though they may not have played enough international matches. Having said that, it would undoubtedly be a big test for the bowling unit against a team known for tonking it hard.
Overall, India is coming into this match and series on the back of some outstanding results and would like to continue posting them. They have a decent side on paper, and if they can play to their potential, getting past them could be difficult.

West Indies vs India Match Prediction
India has a strong batting lineup and has taken an aggressive approach that has paid off handsomely so far. Their bowling attack is also diverse, with quality bowlers in both spin and pace. The West Indies have good depth in the batting and bowling departments, but the playing XI lacks consistency and experience. Because of their recent form and momentum, we expect India to win this match.
