IPL 2021 – Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – 52nd Match Prediction

The Royal Challengers Bangalore has qualified for the IPL 2021 playoffs and will now aim to finish in the top two. That is a difficult task, but it is still possible if RCB wins its remaining two matches. Its next opponent is the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, which has only won two of its last twelve matches.

SRH is playing its youngsters and giving its players one last chance before a complete overhaul in the next IPL auction.

This match may appear to be a mismatch with poor betting returns on offer, but we are confident that there is a lot of value to be found in this contest as well. On October 6, 2021, the match will be held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Team Previews

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Match Odds – 1.50)

RCB is peaking just in time for the IPL 2021 season. With runs for Glenn Maxwell, Virat Kohli, and Devdutt Padikkal, its batting is coming together nicely. AB de Villiers is the one big missing link, but even at this stage in his career, he is not someone you want to bet against.

In the previous match, RCB used Dan Christian, which we thought was a bold move. The team’s batting order has been quite flexible, which can be quite effective when used correctly.

Srikar Bharat is their go-to batsman when an early wicket falls as insurance against a collapse, but he is ineffective when the team gets off to a good start. Among the bowlers, Harshal Patel has been the best of IPL 2021, and Yuzvendra Cahal is also returning to form.

RCB may decide to rest a few players for this match, but with a potential top-2 finish on the line, we don’t expect RCB to make wholesale changes to its lineup.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Squad

Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers, Srikar Bharat, Mohammed Azharuddeen, Sachin Baby, Rajat Patidar, Daniel Christian, Glenn Maxwell, Harshal Patel, Kyle Jamieson, Pavan Deshpande, Shahbaz Ahmed, Washington Sundar, Daniel Sams, Mohammed Siraj, Navdeep Saini, Suyash Prabhudessai, Yuzvendra Chahal, Finn Allen, Scott Kuggeleijn

Predicted XI: Virat Kohli (c), Devdutt Padikkal, Srikar Bharat (wk), Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, Daniel Christian, George Garton, Shahbaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

Sunrisers Hyderabad (Match Odds – 2.60)

SRH’s situation is not looking good. Not only is it losing games, but its experiment to give its young players more time in the middle does not appear to be paying off. Priyam Garg, Abdul Samad, and even Abhishek Sharma have failed to live up to their billing.

For their runs, SRH continues to rely on overseas players such as Jason Roy and Kane Williamson. Slow wickets have not suited either of those players, and this could be an issue again in this match.

A similar changing of the guard is required in the bowling department. When the ball is stationary, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma are ineffective, and Siddharth Kaul is simply too erratic.

Rashid Khan is the only threat in the bowling lineup, with Jason Holder only occasionally effective. The raw pace of Umran Malik was impressive in the previous match, but that alone will not be enough to trouble the RCB’s batting geniuses.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad

David Warner (c), Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg, Shreevats Goswami, Virat Singh, Wriddhiman Saha, Abdul Samad, Abhishek Sharma, Jason Holder, Kedar Jadhav, Mohammad Nabi, Vijay Shankar, Basil Thampi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jagadeesha Suchith, Khaleel Ahmed, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Shahbaz Nadeem, Siddarth Kaul, Jason Roy

Predicted XI: Kane Williamson (c), Jason Roy, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma, Abdul Samad, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, Siddarth Kaul

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Toss Prediction

The team that wins the toss will want to bat first. There has been some dew in Abu Dhabi, which gives the chasing team a significant advantage. Five of the six IPL 2021 matches played in Abu Dhabi were won by the chasing team.

To Win the Toss – Royal Challengers Bangalore – 1.85

To Win the Toss – Sunrisers Hyderabad – 1.85

Pitch and Weather Conditions

In the previous match, the wicket in Abu Dhabi was much better for batting, as both the Rajasthan Royals and the Chennai Super Kings easily scored over 180 runs. That was the only high-scoring match in the second leg of the IPL 2021. In this match, we would avoid the Total Runs, Total Suxes, and Total Fours betting markets until we see how the conditions evolve.

Dew is likely to play a significant role in this match, but you can only take advantage of that with in-play betting.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Match Prediction

We’re going to put our money on Royal Challengers Bangalore to win this game. The only treats for RCB in this match are Jason Roy, Rashid Khan, and, to a lesser extent, Jason Holder. We believe RCB’s recent form has been very convincing, and it should be able to continue its winning streak.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is the favorites to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad at the odds of 1.50.

  • RCB has a much more potent batting lineup.
  • SRH is not necessarily playing its strongest eleven in order to give its young players a chance.
  • In every aspect of the game, RCB outperforms SRH.
